Julie has been an active member of the AFDO Drug, Device, and Cosmetic committee since 2011. This has been invaluable to the DDC committee and those attending the conference.
In 2014, Julie became Chair of a new subcommittee, the Marketing subcommittee of the Drug, Device and Cosmetic committee. The charge of the committee was to improve marketing and attendance of the Drug, Device and Cosmetic track at the annual AFDO educational conference. Julie has led a group of seven associate members in the development and execution of a marketing strategy. The group has designed marketing materials, including the promotional materials for the upcoming 2016 DDC track of the AFDO conference. In addition, the group has started forging relationships with other organizations to serve in cross promotion activities and eventually co-sponsorship.
