Charity: BioTeknica’s Helping Hands

Every year for the past three and a half years, BioTeknica has partnered with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to support Helping Hands, a joint program of Stop Hunger Now and CRS.  Most recently, BioTeknica associates and their families met at the Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami to help package nutritious meals for a small village in Burkina Faso in Africa.  The group worked tirelessly to pack over 34,000 meals!!

Habitat for Humanity

BioTeknica Team with Friends & Family

BioTeknica’s team partnered with Habit for Humanity of Greater Miami to build a home forMiami native Margaret Gilmore.  A single mother of four, Margaret is a bus driver for Dade County Transportation and currently lives in a small townhouse with her children.  For Margaret, making rent has been difficult and her unresponsive landlord has added to her worries by not repairing the home.

Margaret Gilmore

Habitat for Humanity and the BioTeknica team came to her rescue.  The team worked hard and had lots of fun helping to build a home for this most deserving family.
